Sure Step a big hit with TCBY at Universal Studios

Interlake Chemicals is pleased to announce that Sure Step is making huge progress at Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. After treating TCBY, other locations such as Cigars at Universal Studios wanted to have safe floors for their staff and customers as well. In fact, the owner of Cigars was so happy with Sure Step, he went ahed and ordered the treatment for all of his Cigars locations.

Sure Step racing team is a big hit on the World of Outlaws Series "Wild West Tour"

Dustin Hapka and the Sure Step racing team is turning alot of heads on the World of Outlaws Series. It is Dustin's first time touring with the World of Outlaws Series and he has made every feature race on the "Wild West Tour." You can watch Dustin race on August 16, 2008 on SpeedVision at 3:00p.m., where he leads the race for 9 laps! Interlake Chemicals only show in town in Las Vegas!

Once again, Interlake Chemicals had another successful trade show at the ASSE show in Las Vegas June 9 - 11, 2008. The response to our Sure Step product had safety engineers lining up at our booth, and once again, Interlake Chemicals was the only company showcasing it's NON-SLIP chemicals at this very prestigous event. Having a full page AD in the ASSE trade magazine had safety engineers at the show seeking us out. Because no other company in the world has a product or presence like Sure Step, Interlake Chemicals was a huge draw at the show.

ASSE TRADE SHOW

Interlake Chemicals is proud to exhibit at the American Society of Safety Engineers (ASSE) trade show currently being held in Las Vegas, NV June 9 - 11, 2008. This is one of several trade shows where Interlake Chemicals is showcased, on behalf of our many distributors world wide. Founded in 1911, ASSE is the oldest and largest professional safey organization and has over 30,000 members. As THE leader in the industry, Interlake Chemicals felt it was important to participate at such an event. In the past 12 months alone, our distributors have exhibited in over 30 trade shows around the world as we continue to be the leader in the field of floor/bathtub safety.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL SHOW!

For the second year in a row, Interlake Chemicals exhibited at the INTERNATIONAL HOTEL/MOTEL & RESTAURANT SHOW at the Jacob Javits center in New York city, New York from November 11 - 13th, 2007. Our presence was appreciated as many of the major chains stopped by our booth with the greatest of interest. Not only did we have a booth at the show, but our full page AD in the November/07 issue of LODGING (see our AD in the MULTIMEDIA section of our website) added even more of a presence. The leads generated from this show will be distributed to our many distributors around the globe. Bob Bira attended the show along with our Master Distributors, Jon and Charlie Flax. This was the second year in a row attending this show and it is really paying off. As we have no competition, SURE STEP is the only product that is available to these large chains. Now that the players in the Hotel/Motel & Restaurant Industry have seen our SURE STEP ADs in their trade magazines for the past year and attending their annual INTERNATIONAL trade show for the second year in a row, it is quite apparent from the response we received, that SURE STEP is the only solution to solve their problem of slip & falls, especially on a National level. Due to the tremendous response this year, we will be doing the show once again next year.

More exciting news from the "SURE STEP SCENE" We are very pleased to announce that Interlake Chemicals Int'l has appointed Mr. Bob Bira as our Int'l Major Account Safety Director. His responsibilities are to develop relationships with Chain Accounts on a National and International basis. ASORE RESTAURANT CONFERENCE

JUNE 07' Congratulations to Betsy A. on an "over the top" show in Puerto Rico with the ASORE RESTAURANT ASSOCICATION AND CONFERENCE. Betsy has performed treatments on many of the Restaurant floors and kitchens in Puerto Rico and the comments have been as follows. "When we were doing the demonstrations we allowed the potential customers to choose which tile they wanted to try, we actually asked them which tile they had or which one resembled their tile. We were very confident of our product, regardless of the shoe they were wearing, it would work so we let them experience it by themselves. Without any doubt the most common reaction was "WOW, it really grips!". I had appointments made just by that simple demonstration."
